Refugees & Asylum Seekers

Christianity is not just for British people, and neither is our church - the Bible teaches us that our God is the God of the whole world, and so we should expect church to be a place where people from a variety of nations, races and cultures can come together as one family and worship him.

Sundays

We love to welcome those from other backgrounds into our church, and host sessions each Sunday afternoon particularly for those for whom English is a second language.

Our internationals and Aleph group meet at 12.30pm, straight after our 10.30am service.

Whether you're an experienced Christian who wants to grow in your faith, or someone looking into Jesus' message for the first time, we'd love to meet you, answer your questions, and welcome you in.

Andy Stovell

Andy Stovell - Community Outreach

He came to know Christ when young and soon became eager for everyone to know the good news too. He can't think of anything better than us being made right in God's sight through the swap Jesus made on the cross: He took my shame, he covers me with his honour.

Married to Judith, they have 6 children, 3 chickens, 2 lodgers and a dog.

He loves his local church but is mostly to be found 'out and about' meeting and eating with the disconnected and disenfranchised, then introducing them to his gospel family.

Andy loves hanging out with people from different cultures and finds his sweetspot opening the bible with someone who's considering Christ, over an authentic curry. Andy was a teacher and is committed to lifelong learning: He asks a lot of questions!

If you ask him, he'll possibly take you to his favourite curry house.
