Refugees & Asylum Seekers
Christianity is not just for British people, and neither is our church - the Bible teaches us that our God is the God of the whole world, and so we should expect church to be a place where people from a variety of nations, races and cultures can come together as one family and worship him.
Sundays
We love to welcome those from other backgrounds into our church, and host sessions each Sunday afternoon particularly for those for whom English is a second language.
Our Aleph group (Farsi speakers) meet at 12.30pm, straight after our 10.30am service.
Whether you're an experienced Christian who wants to grow in your faith, or someone looking into Jesus' message for the first time, we'd love to meet you, answer your questions, and welcome you in.

Asylum Seeker and Practical Support
We want to help asylum seekers and refugees find a home with us at Christ Church
Central, and within our city of Sheffield. We have produced this information guide to help
you through your migration journey. There are many organisations within Sheffield that can
help you and we will signpost you to them. But the way things are done in this country may
be different to your home country. Therefore, this guide tries to describe the processes. It
will not be the same for everyone. But this will hopefully help you to understand the
framework of how you can get help.
This guide is organised into sections – click on the links below.
