Your name, contact details, and other information you provide to us may be stored electronically with password protection, or in paper form within the locked church office. This information may be used to provide pastoral support or for the purposes of church ministry, but will never be shared with anyone without your consent, unless we are legally obliged to do so.

If you have given us permission, your contact details will be entered in a digital database of church contacts. This is accessible to those with pastoral responsibilities within the church. Should you leave the church, your details will be removed from the database.

Legal basis for processing your data

The data we collect from you is collected so that Christ Church Central can contact you about church activities and events, and in order to support our church family pastorally. This is covered by the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) under 'Legitimate Interest.'

Sharing data

Christ Church Central will not share your personal information with any third parties, unless either obliged to under law, or in reasonable circumstances - for example, booking you onto a conference.

Your rights

Under GDPR, you have a right to know what information we hold about you. You may also:
- object to the processing of data that is likely to cause, or is causing, damage or distress.
- prevent the processing of data for direct marketing.
- object to decisions being taken by automated means.
- have inaccurate data erased or rectified.
- claim compensation for damages caused by a breach of GDPR.
