Global Gospel Partnerships
At Christ Church Central we really want to be a church for people who don't go to church, or in Jesus words 'a witness to his death and resurrection to every ethnic group':
“Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead, and that repentance for the forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations [every ethnic group], beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. (Luke 24:46-48 ESV)
We want to play our part in this Jesus-given plan, and so we do our best to train, send and support a number of global gospel partners across the world, especially where there is no or little access to the gospel. We are aware of the great blessing God has given us with Bibles, pastor-teachers, a long church history, much Christian literature, not to mention good access to healthcare and education.
And so we want to bless others who don't yet know about the good news of Jesus, and call them to repentance and faith in Him, and to model and teach everything He commanded. Our global gospel partners do this in a number of different ways, including through direct church planting & evangelism, education, healthcare and supporting suffering Christians.
We also support short-term partners.

Church members can view details of our Global Gospel Partners, how to get prayer updates and how to support them financially via ChurchSuite.
We have a Global Gospel Partnership Team which meets regularly to consider about our church's place in God's global work, review how we can support our partners best, and identify and train prospective partners. Team members are: Andy (chair), Bill Fearnehough, Wodu Majin, Karen Gilder, Dave Moore and Katie Waters.
Our mission partners also produce regular prayer updates which we use to pray for them at our Sunday meetings, at Church Family Prayer meetings, in our Gospel Teams, and individually. For more information about our Global Gospel Partners, contact the Global Gospel Partnership Team by email.
